Dr. Mario Garcia + iPad + Event = WoodWing World Tour in London
The next stop of the WoodWing World Tour is a fact! On September 17, we will continue the success of our World Tour events in the amazing surrounding of the Blu Radisson hotel in downtown London.
On this day we hope to welcome many companies interested in the future of publishing.
Are we going to talk about publishing to tablets like the iPad? Most definitely! Is this going to be the only item on our agenda? No way! WoodWing will offer you a free event where you will learn everything you need to know about today’s publishing industry and one of the big opportunities for the industry lies in the upcoming use of tablet devices such as the iPad.
Therefore We are proud to announce that the renown newspaper designer Dr. Mario Garcia, will join us as a keynote speaker. Mario will draw on his worldwide scope and recent experience for his presentation, “The tablets take up residence! “. He will explain how he sees the future of newspapers and magazines in relation to the upcoming tablet devices. He will outline why he thinks that publishers are "already behind" if they do not have a tablet edition and that they must have one by the end of this year. According to Garcia the tablets will become the primary platform for many news consumers. At the same time, Garcia, well known for his print newspaper redesigns, is not giving up on ink-on-paper, saying that the two complement each other as the tablet is more like print than the Web ever was. Check out the Garcia Media blog!
Besides the interesting presentation of Dr. Garcia, the WoodWing World Tour program will be jam-packed with a mix of keynote presentations, customer stories, product demonstrations and partner presentations which without a doubt will inspire you to think fresh and go home with new ideas and great stories!
The event is also an excellent opportunity to meet our partners who can answer all your questions about WoodWing’s latest products and our cross-media publishing solutions.
